On Sunday, June 7 at 10:00 AM, we will have our annual Music Sunday service. This is a time when we acknowledge the vital importance of music in our services. We are very fortunate to have so much talent in our UU Asheville Community. The UU Asheville Choir, the Youth Choir, and the Sandburgers will be participating in this service. Also, the congregation will get some opportunities to sing!  

We celebrate diversity with the music we share in our services. Featured in our Music Sunday service will be songs by Holly Near, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Rollo Dilworth, Brian Tate, and Marianne Forman’s setting of the poem “The Gift to Sing” by James Weldon Johnson. The music and texts have been carefully chosen to reflect our values and to inspire us as we move forward.
