Friends, I am so happy to be heading into spring with you! Our grounds have been full of laughter and dreams as we imagine a future for our campus that has room for all of us and more. Downstairs in Faith Formation, we are using all of our available space for our robust Sunday program. We are playing, sharing stories, practicing mindfulness, and learning together. Some of us are learning all sorts of new, interesting things in Our Whole Lives, our comprehensive sexuality education program offered for middle schoolers this year. We are as busy as a hive of bees on Sunday mornings, and we want to share the fun with you! Don’t miss our annual Faith Formation All Ages worship service this Sunday at 11:15 am. Once a year, we gather in the Sanctuary to celebrate our thriving Faith Formation program and hear from adults, youth, and children about what makes our program so special. Some of our talented youth will share their musical gifts with us! Additionally, we’ll hear from some parents about why UU AVL is special to them and their families. I want to extend a special invitation to all of our collaborators, both in Family Ministry and Adult Faith Formation, to attend as we will honor you during the service as well! Unfortunately, I won’t be there this Sunday, but I’ll be tuning in remotely and hope to see you all there.
