Green Sanctuary
What is the Green Sanctuary Certificate?

The Green Sanctuary Certificate is awarded to Unitarian Universalist congregations that affirm and actively promote our Seventh Principle of “respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.” Being a Green Sanctuary is only the beginning…we will keep striving to promote sustainable practices and environmental justice in our congregational community, our personal lives, and our wider communities. We are a congregation committed to accepting responsibility for the Earth, being intentional in the choices we make and collaborating together as we seek practical actions to live gently on the Earth. Learn more about our congregations Earth Community Circle here or contact Jodi Clere, a member of the group. Here is our congregation’s Environmental Sustainability Policy
