Creating our Shared Future:

Small Group Discussions led by the Strategic Planning Committee (May 2007)

The Strategic Planning Committee concluded a month-long series of conversations with Members and Friends about future visions for our congregation. They consolidated what was heard, prepared and presented a report highlighting their findings at the Annual Meeting held June 8, 2008. You may view the presentation here: Strategic Planning Presentation

UUCA in 2015: Vision Statement

The Strategic Planning Committee developed the following concise Vision Statement after careful review of all the feedback they received in the small group discussions:

As a vibrant Unitarian Universalist congregation rooted in the liberal religious tradition:

  • We enthusiastically support spiritual exploration and moral development of individuals through all their years;
  • We foster inclusive and meaningful relationships with one another, our Association of Congregations, and the wider community; and
  • We work to create a sustainable world with peace and justice for all.
