Membership classes are generally held four times a year, and are led by our Minister, UU101 team members, the Membership Coordinator, and other church leaders.

The new format for 2010-11 will consist of three evening sessions, one each week for three consecutive weeks. Our fall workshop will be held on Wednesdays, Sept. 29, Oct. 6 and Oct. 13. Attendance at all three evenings is essential.

These sessions are the foundation of UUCA Membership. The multiple session UU101 will give all a chance to find out more about UU’ism, UUCA, and other new Members. It is suggested for those planning to become official Friends of the church as well. Visitors, who want to learn more about being UU and this church community, are also welcome to attend.

Each session will begin at 5:30 PM with a complimentary dinner for all participants and their children. Childcare, at no charge, will be provided after our shared meal. At the end of the three session workshop, participants will be given an opportunity to become a Member or Friend of UUCA.

Sign up sheets are located behind the Welcome Table in Sandburg Hall and on a bulletin board in RE. Becoming a Member or Friend of UUCA requires a commitment to use your time, talents and treasure to support the church.
